Alice was my 'Spotty Rabbit' friend, an involuntary member of a small group of people who instinctively recognise each other. Not only did she inspire the students she taught over the years but her contemporaries, like myself. So creative was she that time spent in her company was a delight and always productive of some good thing whether material or aesthetic. What a treasure! She leaves a huge hole....I shall miss her.
