I was one of the many students that Alice inspired during her years of patient encouragement as a teacher. Just an hour a week looking at pictures with her in the attic classroom of Oxford Lodge Sixth Form centre, instilled a life long love of art history in me. I went on to catalogue paintings for an auction house and currently help organise children’s art activities at my local museum during the school holidays.
